CARVELO2GO THE WORLD’S FIRST PUBLIC ECARGO-BIKESHARING
During winter 2016 the Mobility Academy launched the world’s first electric Cargo-Bikesharing in Bern and Basle. Around 40 bikes in both cities are hosted by local shops, such as bakeries, pharmacies, book-shops or bars. More than 1000 users have already registered and can now reserve a bike on www.carvelo2go.ch.

Carsharing Conference in Vancouver
On September 22-23 the Carsharing Conference will be held in Vancouver, Canada. City transportation officials, public transit authorities, carsharing operators and mobility technology innovators will gather to look at the development of new mobility and how progressive city transportation policies support the integration of public transit, cycling and shared cars.

Prior to the 3rd World Collaborative Mobility Congress, the Mobility Academy will host the 2nd College for Collaborative Mobility „cocomo“ in Bern. The cocomo seeks to support future mobility-experts in refining their visions and ideas with regards to collaborative mobility services and -products, as well as to offer networking-opportunities with decision-makers from the Swiss transport sector.

FIA Mobility Conference Week in Melbourne
The FIA (Federation internationale de l’automobile) is starting to deal with the subject of collaborative mobility. At the FIA Mobility Conference Week in Melbourne, which was held from 16th – 19th of September, Dr. Joerg Beckmann was invited for a panel discussion with the title „Mobility beyond motoring“ as an expert.
